Annie, whose ears were cut off by her past owner, arrived at a local shelter with a healed old leg injury. The shelter fell in love with this lovely girl with a strong and serene spirit. When DAWG was contacted, we said we would take her, and then found ourselves providing two orthopedic surgeries to correct her leg. One operation was followed by another, with a long recovery for each. Annie patiently went along with the post-op regimen without a whimper. What a stoic girl Annie is!

At long last, sweet Annie's available for adoption. She loves people, dogs and cats and will assimilate into any home with ease. She's just a little thing, very feminine. As for Annie's ears, they make you sad but they do not detract from her charm. They remind you of old-fashioned spoolies (curlers). But what you remember are Annie's eyes. There's something about Annie...when she looks at you, you know she wants to know who you are.  And she's ready to be yours.

For more information on Annie, or any of the other wonderful DAWG dogs, please submit an online application. There is no obligation. Once your application is received, a DAWG volunteer will contact you.
