Babe caught the attention of our intake volunteer because Babe was amazingly responsive to her. Our volunteer couldn't stop thinking about Babe's sparkling personality and those big brown eyes of hers. So we decided to take her in before she became a shelter statistic.

Now Babe has her chance to shine at adoption shows and eventually in a home of her own. She's the type of dog people look for: medium in size (apartments/condos) and a blendable dog for any home. At Babe's first adoption show, she was very well behaved despite the over-stimulation and confusion swirling around her! Even when Babe got excited when nearby dogs played with each other, she relaxed when he handler took her down an aisle. Babe is totally "into" humans and is very attentive. Babe also seems to know some training, including "sit" and "down," takes treats gently, and waits to "potty" on the grass. This Babe's got class!
