Beanie
and Bubbles (Beanie on
Left, Bubbles Right) came to us thin and scared. We think they may be mother and
daughter and are definitely "best friends." Beanie and Bubbles
were stray, fending for themselves (and not doing well finding
food) when brought to a local shelter. When it was obvious their
owners were not looking for them, Beanie and Bubbles became
ours!
Beanie and Bubbles have completely come out of their shell and
are quite outgoing and active in their foster home. Beanie and
Bubbles took to crate-training, which has helped them learn
about housebreaking and house "rules" in general. The fact that
they are food-driven (like most beagles) has helped in their
training!
Bubbles is the more dominant of the beagle duo, but Beanie
doesn't care. When you go to pet one dog, you suddenly have two
beagle heads in your lap. There is nothing sweeter than to see
them (when they don't know you are watching) talk to each other
and gently touch each other with their paws. And Beanie and
Bubbles love to sleep curled up in a beagle ball.
Beanie and Bubbles are so attached that we decided they will be
placed together. It would be cruel to separate them at this
point. So if you have room in your home and heart for a double
dose of beagle love, please come to visit them at an upcoming
show.
