You can practically hear Bing say "HELP!!!!!!!!!!" when confronted by a new person or situation. When we met him at the shelter, he was shaking with fear. Who could blame him, especially knowing he was kept in the big dog kennel for some reason. However, on his car ride from the shelter, Bing looked around with a distrust at first, then yawned, stretched and settled happily in his little crate. By the time he arrived at the animal hospital, he had bonded with the volunteer who transported him and then crawled onto her lap (for reassurance and more petting, of course) when he was waiting for his appointment.

We don't know what Bing's lineage may be, perhaps a bit of Jack Russell or Manchester Terrier thrown into the mix? His ears can go straight up, even if his picture shows them at half-mast. He seems thinner and taller than a Chihuahua. Still, he's a tiny guy!

Bing is typical of small dogs. He tends to be defensive till he realizes all is well. Give him a bit of affection, and he will be your friend forever!
