If you're old enough to remember Ozzie and Harriet, a devoted couple from the days of early TV, you have an idea of our new couple, Buddy and Daisy Sue. These poor dogs were dumped at the shelter right before Labor Day because their owners were moving, or was it that they were traveling? Sadly, the dogs didn't "rate" being included in the owner's plans.

Rather than take Buddy or Daisy Sue from the shelter, we had to take both. And we have vowed they will always be together. After all, we are fortunate to have found adopters for many pairs of dogs this year and will simply wait until someone loves them both!

Both Buddy and Daisy Sue are a bit larger than standard beagles and could lose some weight, especially Daisy Sue. But what you really notice about them are those big, sad beagle eyes. One day those eyes will light up with joy. Looking at you?

For more information on Buddy or Daisy Sue, or any of the other wonderful DAWG dogs, please submit an online application. There is no obligation. Once your application is received, a DAWG volunteer will contact you.
