This sweet lad isn't totally visible in his shelter
picture, but you get a sense that he is a gorgeous guy underneath
that glossy fur. We'll get him a haircut soon!
Poor Colby is looking for his
third home after being adopted at the shelter twice, once as a
puppy, and now again because his former owners liked to travel. They
said his favorite spot was resting right by their feet as they
watched TV or worked on the computer. Colby is a lover-boy in need
of lover-humans!
But that's not all. At his first show, Colby rolled over for anyone
willing to give him belly-rubs, and when he saw a puppy he wanted to
play with, he started to bark at the puppy as if to say, "come on
over and let's have a good time together!" What a sweet boy.
Colby is a bit chunky at the moment, obviously because his owners
over-fed and under-exercised him. That's a minor problem to solve,
as will be finding Colby a committed home to call his own...forever.
