Foster's story is not much different from many wonderful dogs who live out their lives in a yard, tied up and lonely. But Foster's life took a turn for the worse, then better, in the fall of 2009. Foster's family's home caught on fire in the early hours of the morning. Foster barked and barked, finally rousing his family, which escaped unharmed. Foster's heroism and loyalty were not rewarded. Instead he was abandoned at the house, where Animal Control seized him, and later released him to DAWG.

There are dogs who are memorable, and then there are dogs who are FOUR STAR MEMORABLE. Foster is in the latter category, a loving, big-hearted, amazingly loyal and sweet big Doberman boy who certainly deserves to live out his life with someone who will adore him. Nothing less than that is what we want for our Foster, who wows everyone who meets him. Get ready to fall in love with a very special guy!

(Please note: Foster does not like cats!)
