Gracie, injured on the side of a road, was found by a citizen who called Animal Control to pick her up. Luckily Animal Control went straight to an emergency animal hospital where it was confirmed that Gracie's rear legs were broken. A very kind veterinarian at the emergency animal hospital repaired one leg, then the other, and even went to a specialist for additional surgery to ensure Gracie's legs would be as good as new. The veterinarian kept Gracie at her home until she felt Gracie was ready to be released to DAWG for foster care and further veterinarian follow-up.
