Our new guy, Levi, is a very good natured pup, ready to play with dogs who don't jump all over him. In fact, he just loves rolling around with some of his new DAWG pals, including Baron the Doberman!

Levi is getting over being shy and confused about all the new things he is experiencing, like all rescue dogs do once they get into their new routine and recognize their new human and dog friends. However, Levi seems to be afraid of children of the approximate age of 10 and younger. Perhaps he was taunted or was hurt by a child in his prior life. We'll never know. So for now, Levi is learning to trust "little kids." For sure he has quickly graduated with honors in other ways -- walking on a leash, politely sitting in a car, catching treats, obeying basic training commands, and looking to adults with total trust. What a great dog!

For more information on Levi, or any of the other wonderful DAWG dogs, please submit an online application. There is no obligation. Once your application is received, a DAWG volunteer will contact you.
