Mattie was set on fire in the stairwell of a local apartment complex. Luckily he was saved, but his injuries are extensive. While local authorities are trying to track down the person who did this, DAWG is providing 24/7 medical care through local veterinarians who have offered to help. October 18 update: Here is Dr. Smith providing treatment following a blood transfusion. Mattie has developed a respiratory infection but is on the mend.
