Nina is a gorgeous Bluetick Coonhound who was found roaming in the country. Because no one claimed her during the shelter's stray period, she was scheduled for euthanasia. However, the shelter manager couldn't stand putting down such a sweet dog. In desperation, she begged us to take Nina.

Nina is a very loving personality. One way she shows her affection is to drape herself over volunteers at adoption shows. She knows we love it when she does that, but if "draping" isn't her adopter's "thing," we're sure she will demonstrate her affection in other ways. For sure, she wants to please!

Nina is also a strikingly beautiful dog. You instantly notice her blue and brown eyes, and eventually discover the heart-shaped marking in the center of her back. When you see a crowd of people surrounding a dog at an adoption show, it's a easy bet that Nina is the star of the moment!

Nina's sweet soul and winning ways will steal your heart. The only thing she asks for in return is to be the only pet. She is "ok" with other dogs at adoptions shows but would prefer not to share her future adopters. Some dogs need other dogs, and others don't. What Nina does need is a home that will appreciate and enjoy her forever. If you think you can offer that to Nina, she's ready!
