Our Penny came to us as a medical disaster! She required surgery on BOTH knees, which were "stuck" in an "out" position. We were all set to start surgery on the first knee when she went into heat!  This also delayed her spay and a needed dental. Since then, Penny has been spayed, had a dental, and both knee operations were successful. Penny will never have to walk in discomfort again.

In preparation for her surgeries, Penny was taken to a cardiologist who reported that Penny has very mild degenerative valvular disease without any heart enlargement. She does not require medication but should be seen by a cardiologist as directed by her regular veterinarian.

When Penny arrived, she was subdued, but boy, she's a spunky girl now! She can't get enough love and attention, and loves to be held. If you have arms waiting for Penny, she can't wait to snuggle into them!
