Believe it or not, Precious lived a good part of her life on a balcony. We think Precious was left in a crate on the balcony because she had a urinary tract infection. Rather than take her to the vet, her owners left her in misery and pain (yes, urinary tract infections are painful).  After two baths, her pretty white feet are still stained light yellow. Needless to say, our veterinarian immediately put Precious on antibiotics, so Precious should be feeling better soon!
 
It's obvious Precious is very sensitive, because she presses up against her kennel when you say sweet nothings to her. However, if you approach too quickly, she is overwhelmed, but then flips upside down in a submissive position. We think Precious may have been yelled at, because she doesn't know what to do with positive attention That will change as she becomes confident and sees that the bad things that happened to her are gone. Dogs can put their pasts behind them, and Precious is on her way. Precious is one sweet dog who needs someone who will be shower her with the love she's been denied for so long.
