Rusty and his "sister" Missy were found in an abandoned home. We had to take both dogs, of course, and then realized how much they dote on each other. So we plan to adopt them together, especially because Rusty clearly loves his Missy!

As for Rusty's personality, he's a smart boy! When the shelter representative presented him, Rusty climbed into the visiting volunteer's lap without hesitation. He is a real "lovey dovey." In fact, both Missy and Rusty are very sweet dogs.

Rusty's picture is a bit deceiving as he's a "slight" dog with long legs and a small face. As they say, photographs put 10 pounds on you! We also noticed Rusty is really great on a leash, so someone in Rusty's past must have walked him. Missy's a bit more adventuresome on a leash, and yet she stops and turns when you say her name. Different strokes, both great dogs!

Missy and Rusty together again...
