Saki was found on a road by a DAWG volunteer, who then had Animal Control pick him up (thinking someone had lost his or her beloved dog and was desperate to find him). No one came forward!

Saki is a happy dog who struts around like he's the king of the universe. No wonder he doesn't like bigger dogs. He must think they are crowding him! Otherwise, he likes a lot of smaller dogs and favors our Oliver (a Yorkie).

Saki would probably be best with someone who has some experience with feisty dogs, not that Saki doesn't have a mellow side. He likes laps and is affectionate, but he's no couch potato!

We see a lot of  the best of a Chihuahua in Saki, but he clearly is mixed with "something else."  Whatever his mix, Saki is a "one of a kind" who has already wormed his way into our hearts. Will he do the same to yours?

For more information on Saki, or any of the other wonderful DAWG dogs, please submit an online application. There is no obligation. Once your application is received, a DAWG volunteer will contact you.
