Normally dogs who are given up by their owners at shelters have
seconds before they may be euthanized for lack of space. For some
reason,
Sandy
was given more time, enough so that a shelter volunteer created a
"cage card" that read:
It's true that 'good things come in small packages!' Sandy is a
wonderful little girl with a big heart. She walks well on a leash,
takes treats gently, and enjoys being brushed and petted. After
obviously having a litter of puppies, Sandy is ready to be adopted
and in a loving home soon! Please ask to meet this lovely girl with
the rich brown eyes today. Thanks for visiting.'
Whoever wrote that lovely description about Sandy obviously fell in
love with her. You will too!
