Poor Sarah Jane and her likely siblings (four total) were turned over to the shelter by their owner. They were timid, as most dogs are when thrown into a new and scary situation after a limited past.
The other three dogs recovered quickly, but Sarah Jane remains a skittish girl, who needs her comfort zone of familiar places and people to relax. And when she relaxes, Sarah Jane is fun and receptive. Best of all, she sure loves her dog friends. She had a crush on a lab mix of ours (recently adopted), and would sit next to him with a happy grin on her face. Even better if they could get into a rousing play session, which isn’t easy when on leashes at adoption shows!

Please note that we would prefer a fenced yard for Sarah Jane.
