Sasha
is such a lovely lady dog. She is one of the most affectionate dogs
we've ever met!
We think Sasha's story is that she was used as
a "puppy factory" for several litters, then dumped. (That happens
more than you'd like to think.) So this sweet girl deserves someone
who appreciates her personality and can't wait to return her hugs!
Sasha wants to love up every human she meets.
but we can't say her reaction to other dogs is the same. We thought
Sasha would be fine with other dogs (based on the shelter's
assessment), but we later realized Sasha thinks little dogs are
close relatives to squirrels (prey), and then we realized she really
doesn't "give a hoot" about other dogs of any size.
Unlike other organizations which give a death
sentence to dog who aren't in love with other dogs, DAWG simply
looks for the right people for our dogs. After all, Sasha's plusses
far outweigh this one common "flaw."
Sasha is a very well-behaved dog. She is very
mindful and loves walks during which she ignores other dogs because
she's so into her person. Most importantly, Sasha will be the
ultimate "BFF" to someone who wants a friend with four legs!
