Sprite's a
lucky fellow. Evidently,
he got away from his
prior family and was
found, matted and
filthy, by Animal
Control. They were
delighted to find a cute
guy under all that fur,
and called us. Would we
be interested? Yes, we
were!
Sprite's a great
dog, full of
personality, intelligence,
and curiosity. In his
zest for adventure,
he get into things.
He's quite an explorer.
Could that be why he
ended up stray?
Sprite likes to pick his
dog friends and does
well with most dogs in
general. He is a
delightful and confident
dog who has opinions on
everything. Sprite's a
real character, but a
loving one who wants to
be the king of your
heart.
Sprite needs a patient
adopter who is willing
to work with him on his
housebreaking. Sprite
was tested to determine
if his frequent
urination is a medical
problem. However, he's
in excellent health.
Because Sprite lives in
a multi-dog foster
home, we think the
activity level there
causes him to be so
excited that he drinking
lots of water throughout
the day. Once Sprite's
in his permanent home,
we think Sprite will be
more focused. He's
a bright dog, and we
can't imagine he won't
"get" housebreaking
quickly.
