This darling little guy was adopted from, and then returned to, the shelter because he chased cats! All we can say is: what's a normal pup supposed to do? He probably was just having fun (and maybe the cat was too). Perhaps that was the owner's excuse to return Teddy to the shelter, because people often decide they don't want to bother with a dog's antics or training once they have a dog. Whatever the excuse for returning him, Teddy was in danger because the shelter was filled to capacity. So we squeezed one more in and are delighted with our newest edition.

As for chasing cats, most dogs are easily trained not to do that. We show pending adopters the way to make it work, and there is plenty of information on the web as well. So if you have a cat (or not) and are smitten by our new Teddy, please be sure to inquire soon!
