puppy mills, the April 4 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show revealed to millions of
viewers the horrific abuses that go on in these large-scale breeding facilities. This important

Lacie's site was conceived as a collaboration among pet owners who have been victims
of poisonous pet jerky treats. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Lacie, Misty and Emma,
became extremely ill after eating these treats, experiencing kidney failure, anorexia, weight
loss, and lethargy. Emma and Misty survived;
