Tootsie was given up by her family because they were traveling over the holidays and could take only one of their two dogs (!?). So Tootsie landed in a shelter, but she's safe with us now.

Tootsie tends to be quiet and somewhat reserved for a two year old dog. However, she is sweet, playful (loves toys), and rolls over to get belly rubs. As for Tootsie's interaction with dogs, Tootsie seems fine with most dogs at our adoption shows, although she may be picky about a future canine friend. Tootsie's foster mom thinks she may be a bit insecure and shy. Tootsie's foster mom is also working on house-breaking and leash-walking, but Tootsie's future adopter will have to complete her training.
